Attwater returns to the Composites Engineering show for 6th year
Attwater Group is once again exhibiting at the Composites Engineering Show when it returns for the sixth consecutive year in November.
Lancashire-based Attwater, which specialises in industrial laminates and machining, will be exhibiting its range of epoxy glass, polyimide glass, phenolic fabric and carbon fibre products. These are used in a wide variety of sectors, including aerospace, power generation, marine, general engineering, typically for electrical distribution and industrial applications.
Custom Composites will be exhibiting its range of carbon fibre tubes that have many specialist uses in sectors including military, sport to industrial sectors. In particular it will be displaying part of its range of products for the marine sector including parts used in light weight, high-strength railings, tillers, and masts.
Of particular interest this year will be Attwater’s technical innovation – an epoxy-steel laminate. Developed over a decade, these steel-epoxy sheets are used for gaskets and seals in the oil and gas industry. It is believed that Attwater is the only UK Company making epoxy-steel laminate. This adds to Attwater’s range of over a dozen different types of materials used for gaskets and seals.

The Composites Engineering show is part of Advanced Engineering takes place at Birmingham’s NEC, from 4-5th November 2015
